16 Channel NVR
The 4 channel NVRs are capable of recording at 4K resolution at 20 frames per second, 4K live display, H 265+ recording, and 160 Mbps data/processing speeds. The 16 channel NVR has 2 hard drive bays that support up to 16TB of storage capacity each on a SATA III hard drive for a total of 32TB. Supports AI by camera: Face detection, SMD, and SMD smart search by vehicle and human. 1x HDMI for high definiton 4K output and 1x VGA for 1080p output.
Smart Dual Illumination
The MTB4095 employs smart dual illumination which activates on motion and deploys a warm light, this provides extra active deterrence while also giving the camera more light to better view the area. This feature can also be useful for simply illuminating dark areas as a small floodlight. This feature can be set to work in tandem with SMD+, this means dual illumination will only activate when there is a human or vehicle detected.
MTB4095-AI-SMD-DI
Part of the Lunar 2.0 series, the MTB4095 records at 2K or 4MP resolution at 20 frames per second with a 95° field of view. It performs many abilities like dual illumination, color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, built-in microphone for audio recording, and artificial intelligence features like SMD+, perimeter protection, and smart search.
Montavue's advanced fixed-angle camera will be useful in any situation. Equipped with a hard aluminum body, IP67 weather protection, and a temperature range of -40°F to 140°F, this camera can operate in nearly any location or environment.
3TB Included Storage
The MNR8160 package comes with a 3TB hard drive, however the NVR is capable of hosting up to 2x 16TB hard drive for a total storage capacity of 32TB. H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265+ recording which enables the NVR to conserve more hard drive storage by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.
The MTB4095 has a slot for a micro SD card. These is useful for acting as backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drive within, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.
Artificial Intelligence
The MTB4095 camera has built-in artificial intelligence abilities. Each camera is capable of performing perimeter protection, SMD+ , H.265+ recording, and smart search which works together with the NVR to comb through recorded footage to find any instances of vehicles or humans in view of the camera. Perimeter protection uses digital tripwires to guard specific areas and SMD+ accurately detects humans and vehicles within the entire view.
SMD+
Smart motion detect uses AI recognition to determine if objects moving in front of the camera are human or vehicle. This helps eliminate false notifications, accurately activates the dual illumination, and ensures that all motion recordings are significant and not just a tree blowing in the wind. SMD+ is an advanced version powered by AI within the camera to give you better accuracy at all times of the day.
Remote Connectivity
Montavue NVRs can connect to your local network and internet which enables the ability to view your system remotely using our free Montavue GO app. Montavue GO is available on smartphone, PC, or tablet and can be accessed 24/7 for free as long as you have an internet signal to your NVR and viewing device. Smart notifications can be sent to your mobile device when humans or vehicles are identified by your Montavue camera system, enabling you to respond to events while you're away.

This is a great system. It's nice having varifocal cameras that do human detection too, we don't have to decide where to put ai cameras or varifocal cameras because they all do both!
Got this system installed a couple weeks ago, been loving it so far. The Acupick feature is new to us but it works great to see where someone has gone around on our property, will be sticking with these types of cameras moving forward.

This is a great PTZ and does pretty much everything the -X does so for me its a perfect choice

Seems specific installation angles are required to achieve optimal tracking results (recommended to test the installation height before installation). Overall cool camera.

Replaced an old doorbell with this one. Very reliable, easy to connect with existing cabling. Like so much not to have to depend on cloud subscriptions for recordings. Using a 256 Gb Micro SD Card. No issues at all for the moment after 2 months installed. Easy access to support when need it.

being able to have a conversation through the camera is so incredibly helpful, and with the wide angle you can see so much!
